On JuIy 3, 2006 I wrote: "I am willing to wager that Jerry Brown will  be the 
coach when the 2006 season opens. And that makes sense for reasons too  
numerous to mention."
 
I also predicted that the Baltimore Colts would beat the New York Jets and  
that Alf Landon would beat Franklin D. Roosevelt. Yes, I remember the election  
but I was too young to vote.
