[NU Sports] Fitz: The Future is Now

I'd like to add my best wishes to Coach Fitzgerald and my congratulations 
to Northwestern for having the courage to make a decision that most schools 
WOULD NOT MAKE!

I wasn't able to watch the press conference and I can't get it to replay
on the nusports.com site yet, but my wife and I remember very well the
speech that Fitz gave in Pasadena.  He had that crowd rocking!

I have to say I'm more excited about NU football than I have been in
quite a while, even though there are likely to be some rough edges as
Fitz gets through his first year.  But he was a fast learner in the
classroom, a fast learner as a player, and I have no doubt he'll be
a fast learner as our head coach.
