I think that I saw an article stating Pat Fitzgerald is 31.  Rick Venturi
was 31 when he was hired as head coach for Northwestern in 1978 - a
disaster.

Yes, Ron turned 50 in January.  I'm guessing Pat is around 32.

BTW, born December 21, 1926, Paterno turned 40 shortly after the end of 
his first season as the head coach at Penn State.
