Maybe Mark Murphy should take over the coaching job on an interim basis
and spend the time between now and the end of the 2006 season looking
for a coach. Making a decision of this magnitude at a time of high
emotion, like now, isn't usually a good idea. Anyone else taking the
job now runs the risk of beiing seen as an opportunist.
