Check out today's daily article. I know Carmody is a media darling, but at some point we have to see improvement. An analogy might be females talking about "looking for a nice man", but actually looking out for a harlequin romance.
I was hoping this year we would dominate non-conference and have a so-so non-conference and win a few NIT games. Instead we had a weak non-conference and conference is no place to play "catch up".
Next year it will feel like we are starting over. Vedran and Mohammed are our two best players and they are gone. Craig could be a good player or he could be one that can make open shots, but not create shooting opportunities.
I am glad I like football a lot more than basketball, because I have a feeling that our next best chance for a good(NIT) season is 2008-09.
B-ball needs new gameplan

I suspect that Carmody may very well be somewhere else if things don't turn around, voluntarily or involuntarily, nonetheless Carmody hs a better reputation as a basketball coach than does Walker as a football coach; listen to the comments of the announcers; they still rave about Carmody s being one of the smartest college coaches...
