[NU Sports] If Pittsburgh wins does the "curse" get broken?

It just looked to me that everything went south after the Penn STate 
loss.  I'm not sure that the  comparison of the football and basketball 
program is valid.  Carmody had nothing to build on, Walker did.  I 
suspect that Carmody may very well be somewhere else if things don't 
turn around, voluntarily or involuntarily, nonetheless Carmody hs a 
better reputation as a basketball coach than does Walker as a football 
coach; listen to the comments of the announcers; they still rave about 
Carmody s being one of the smartest college coaches.  I think the 
basketball loss to Penn State was more devastating than the one in 
football because NU was so much further ahead in the basketball game.
