Brett B. agreed to be miked for the game, and when he got under center on  
his first third-down play, he let go with the "f" word in telling his linemen to 
 hold on the hard count he was planning to use.  He did, and the West jumped  
offside, just as BB predicted they would.    Too bad that the  play will be 
overshadowed by his inadvertent blooper.  Meanwhile, he just  missed throwing a 
TD to the big end from Hofstra (my wife's alma mater) at the  end of the 
first half on 4th and 7 from the West 36-yard line.  The throw  was right there, 
however.
