[NU Sports] Chicago Olympics 2016

I remember Mayor Daley proposing that a couple years
back and laughing. But I keep hearing it more and more
and it makes me think that this could actually happen
(winning the US bid - maybe not the overall games).

The article made a good case, and it'd be great to see
beautiful Evanston and the NU lakefront showcased for
some of the events. Chicago truly is a great city and
would represent the country better than some of the
other names that bid against NYC last time (Houston?
Please - didn't they learn from August in Atlanta!:)
).

Dunno how likely it is (though with Asia in '08 and
Europe in '12, Australia out of major cities and
Africa and South America likely to continue to be
ignored by the IOC, a North American candidate would
probably be the favorite), but I hope they get it.
