[NU Sports] What's the matter with Stanford basketball?

Based on RPI, Pomeroy rankings, and Sagarin we are much better than Stanford at basketball.  

I did not think that would ever happen.

They have been a #1 or #2 seed in the tournament in recent memory.

Their football teams did not go bowling either.  Usually Stanford is a model for Northwestern as to what revenue sports programs can be.  I wonder if their sports list has threads like "if only we could be as good as Northwestern" and "we should fire...".
