So ... how hard is it to find a good kicker again?:)
Sheesh - Bobby and JoePa are probably wondering about
that now. Quite a game -- gutsy effort by FSU (though
they pushed that "echo of the whistle" to the limit
yet again) and by PSU. Can the Rose Bowl live up to
the BCS games so far?

Looking back on the Big Ten's bowl season ...

* Three big wins in the three money games over a
heavily favored Auburn, a media darling Charlie Weis
and Notre Dame and FSU in Florida (never an easy feat
down in that heat).

* Two close losses in two of the most poorly
officiated games we've seen in bowls in awhile for
Iowa and Michigan.

* Two big blown leads for Minnesota and NU against
teams who woke up and lived up to their expectations
from earlier in the year.

So not as bad as it could have been after that 0-4
start -- we were really in all our games and the
league came off looking pretty good, IMO. We won't
have the Pac 10's bowl record, but I think we had a
tougher set of matchups than they did overall.

Good games ... thank goodness for the move to the west
coast so these aren't 1am or later finishes!:)

GO CATS!!!
