[NU Sports] Big Ten bowls ...

I haven't heard announcers more critical of
officiating at the end of a bowl game as I have for
this year's Alamo and Outback bowls. Yikes!

Still, another loss for the Big Ten to go to 0-4. At
least the Big Ten team didn't blow a lead this time, I
guess.

On the plus side, Wisconsin is playing -- by far --
their best game of the year and has a two TD lead in
the fourth on Auburn. Maybe we'll finish strong with
the Badgers, Buckeyes and Nittany Lions.

PS - I know El Paso was the smallest stadium of the
bunch, but they didn't appear to have many -- if any
-- extra seats for the Sun Bowl (and from the radio
and TV, it sounded like NU had the majority of the
fans). Most of these other games, even the Citrus,
have large chunks of empty seats. The Gator Bowl looks
virtually half full.
