[NU Sports] El Painful El Paso

I'm sorry, but the NU defense adjusted to stop the UCLA running  attack?  
Maybe we were not watching the same game!  UCLA had 310 yards  rushing.  Some 
adjustment.  The UCLA offensive line controlled the  entire line of scrimmage and 
not just one DL. 
 
Not certain also was is meant by our defenses always coming up with a  
"scheme at the half" to stop the opposition. Again, not the same game I saw  in El 
Paso.  There is a good reason that NU is ranked at the  bottom of D-IA.  In my 
view, it's wishful thinking to adopt the familiar  "wait 'til next year" 
mantra that is really speculation and nothing more.  Teams roll up yards and score 
points against us for a variety of  reasons, but something needs to be done 
beyond just hoping next year will  be different.  I'm not holding my breath, but 
I'd really like to see some  "adjustments" in the D coaching staff.
