[NU Sports] NU-Nevada game to conflict with Rosh Hashanah

Another problem with Friday football is that additional classroom time would have to be missed.
 
However, as we all know, ESPN (or TV in general) could say 'play this game at 3am on Sunday', and every (money-driven) athletic department in the country would say 'yes, sir'.

It's not unprecedented.  NU hosted TCU on Rosh HaShana in 2002 -- and that was a 
Saturday.

For better or for worse, I can't think of any religious holidays when college 
games aren't played. Just last year, games in the NCAA tournament were played on

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I'd be surprised to learn that other spring

Again, maybe they should, but they don't.

I really wish we weren't playing a game on a Friday night, though. Now we have 
to deal with the bad press again about interfering with high school games. And 
the last time we played on a Friday night we had an aweful season (2001), not to 
mention the other bad things I associate with that season (Rashidi Wheeler, 
9-11).
