...and Peggy Barr killing the fraternity tailgates.  That, I would 
venture, was a bigger tailgate killer than the 11AM starts.  Unfortunately 
there's no way to put that particular genie back in the bottle.

It would help if tailgating passes were easier to get for actual 
tailgaters.  We had to donate $1000+ to get ours.  It was worth it, but 
this is a pretty high barrier even if you get 10 guys together like we 
did.

We seem to have a fairly good mix on the West side of the West Lot, at 
least this year.  Lots of mature fans with their fancy setups, giving the 
younger ones (like me) something to shoot for.  A few football player 
alums mixed in, and there's a fun environment.  It'd be nice if there 
weren't so many cars just parked there, though.  If a quarter of those 
cars tailgated, it'd be a much more vibrant scene.
