[NU Sports] Luke Donald's record day

Out here at Pebble Beach -- in brilliantly sunny 70+ degree weather -- Luke Donald tied a Spyglass Hill course record set last year by Phil Mickelson at Spyglass with a 10-under par first round.
   
  Spyglass is generally considered the toughest of the three courses (the others are the Pebble Beach Golf Links and Poppy Hills).
   
  Last year, Mickelson started 10-under at Spyglass and coasted to victory.  But Donald only leads by one stroke over last year's runner-up, Mike Weir (who shot 9-under at Pebble), and by three strokes over a few others.
