[NU Sports] 'Class-Act' Coach

He certainly could have been more graceful in his remarks, but I don't have
a problem with this. In fact, I was a little surprised that he would jump
so quickly to Howells defense.

This is just a coach protecting his player. Howells had a terrible day and
ended up getting pulled, which is embarrassment enough on national TV. Now
Howells gets to relive it because of getting the equivalent of the Bronx
cheer on signing day. IMHO, it was RW's way of telling Howells that he
still had a place on the team.

It was in one of the Sun-Times suburban papers

NU coach irked by boosters

I suspect they caught Randy talking to his "friends."
