[NU Sports] The Alamo Bowl ...

... does the bowl not have a sponsor this year? It's
kind of refreshing to see just a simple "Alamo Bowl"
logo at midfield and only really see commercials for
tourism of the beautiful San Antonio area instead of
some garish FedEx/ChickFilA/Tostitos logo.

As for the game, I guess Iowa *does* have some pride
left after that woeful finish to the season. Too bad
that call at the end of the half swung the momentum
and took it from a 21-3 lead to a 14-10 edge at the
half. Texas may have woken up.

Still, much better game than I though. Credit Kirk
Ferentz for getting his team prepared and motivated.

BTW - I missed the Sun Bowl, but nice to hear they had
a symbol for Coach Walker. I'm sorry I didn't make the
trip last year, sounds like a fun old-time bowl
atmosphere and obviously a bowl organization with a
lot of class to do that.
