[NU Sports] Basanez is in!!!!

Heard Napoleon Harris' name get mentioned a lot today for the Vikings in  
their losing effort to my beloved J-E-T-S at the Metrodome.   And, of  course, 
Barry Cofield was out there plugging up the middle of the D-Line for the  Giants 
against the Iggles (in another losing effort).    All of  our alumni 'Cats 
seemed to be on the short end of the score today.  But at  least they are in 
uniform and on the field.   Of course, Noah Herron's  Packers won today over the 
Lions; however, I just checked the box score online,  and he had no carries or 
yards rushing, so I doubt he was much of a  factor.  Finally, Luis Castillo's 
awesome Chargers take the field in a few  minutes on NBC.  By the way, does 
anybody know if Castillo was playing  Defense for NU when they played TCU and 
his current-teammate, LaDanian Tomlinson  about 4 or 5 years ago.
 
As for BB, the Panthers should give him a shot next week, if Delhomme's  
thumb is still bad.  The Venus de Milo has more mobility than Chris (I was  ready 
for Social Security while winning the Heisman at Florida State.) Weinke,  who 
really looked awful against a mediocre Giants defense last Sunday.
