I enjoyed the analysis by Mike of the various voters--similar to when Cal got
shafted out of the Rose Bowl when some sabotaged the process and voted them
really low, though wasn't public 2 years ago who voted for who--I also agree
with Mike that it is fine to have USC leapfrog UM, not because Michigan's
season was over, but because USC's wasn't--- and they improved themselves in front
of various eyes by beating the highly ranked (and overated) Irish- So I
accept that even though I would have voted Michigan over USC at that time since
their only loss was by a FG on the road to the #1 team, while USC lost to a
slightly better than medicocre Oregon State

I also second Mike that those who voted for UF over UM because they just
didn't want to se a rematch in my opinion (not sure if it is humble), is just
plain wrong.
