And the Dukesters are riding a 19 game losing streak (22 straight against
Div I-A and 30 of their last 31). Could they challenge our ignominious
mark?

Yeah, let's not count the chickens (or Buckeyes) before they hatch.

Plus, who knows what the AP will do if Florida wins a close game but
Michigan blows away USC.

Northeastern was 5-6 this year and Duke did the donut (0-12), one of just
two teams in 1-A to do that, the other being Florida International.
But Northwestern has a history of fudging those types of games. :sigh:

Nevada is bowl bound, or since it's in Boise maybe that's bbbbbbowl
bbbbound.

Michigan and Ohio State will be their usual top-10 caliber, and at least
one of them may come into the season with a big chip on their shoulders.

So I agree it'll be tough.
