Baloney--the game is supposed to be for the top 2 teams in the country--if 
you are the second best team in the country and the best happens to be in your 
conference--then so be it--why should the 3rd best team make it jsut because 
they are in a  different conference--If you put in that stupid rule, then tell 
everyone you are changing the meaning of the game---

While the NCAA hoops tournament champion, as  previosuly stated ,is not 
necessarily the best team, if 2 teams in the finals are from the same conference , 
may response is you don't take the loser of one of the semi-final games 
against one of the winners and sustitute them in
