B ... C ... S ... CHAOS!!! Love it!!!

It'll be interesting if we see all those
anti-Michiganders jump on the Florida wagon now or if
they accept that the Big Ten has the top two teams in
the nation! And maybe the cries from SEC land about
being screwed for the second time in three years
(legit cries, IMO) will lead to a playoff.

What a gutsy win by UCLA. They seemed to be getting no
help from the refs (a clear helmet-to-helmet hit on
3rd down late wasn't called as it was vs. Michigan in
Columbus), but pulled it out.

Actually, I wouldn't complain too much about an
OSU-Florida title game either because it would lead to
a much better BCS bowl lineup (Big East vs. Wake and
Big XII vs. Boise State seem certainties either way,
but if Florida goes to the title game, we get a
USC-Michigan Rose Bowl and Notre Dame-LSU Sugar Bowl).

If it were anyone else but the Bucknuts, I'd feel bad
about the rematch and how tough it'll be to beat a
team twice. But this is a good thing for the Big Ten
and even better for NU fans since we now don't have to
root for the Buckeyes in a bowl.:) The only sad thing
is that Wisconsin will almost certainly be a top 5 BCS
team now and still get screwed out of a BCS bowl. Boo!

This will guarantee the Big Ten its second national
champion in five years and fourth (counting PSU '94
and Michigan '97 - sorry UNL fans) since 1994, more
than any other league except that Nebraska-led Big XII
run. And to go along with our strong teams at the top
argument, eight of the 11 teams have won the Big Ten
title in that 13-year span. Not bad depth either.

Looks like Arizona is about to become Big Ten country,
with Buckeye, Wolverine and Gopher fans heading here
for the holidays.
