IMHO coach Walker and Fitz fixed the PK issue with Demos, [and Howells] AND
recruited a couple of d-Backs who are already contributing.
The QB situation is actually better than in the past, where we usually only had
one good backup and who knew what in the pipeline. Unlike the Kustok to Basanez
transition, where we had a QB who resented the backup role, this trio sounds
more like team players - guys who just want to get on the field.
The next three games, Miami, New Hampshire and Eastern Michigan will all show
this team something about themselves, and how we plan to play 2006. Of the
three, the home game next weekend with New Hampshire worries me a little more
that Thursday's game.

he is inheriting a team that has do to more rebuilding than ususal including a
new QB, a weak secondary, and a lousy PK for god knows how long.
