The Fitz beat goes on.....
Good, prominent article in today's NY TIMES Sports Section (p. D2):

I love it when I open my morning paper on my train ride to work, and there's
an article about NU. I can still recall the dark days of the seemingly
endless losing streak when I would pick up my Sunday TIMES Sports Section and
search the previous day's College FB results--always looking at the teams in the
"right" (losing) column to find our beloved 'Cats. While I truly wish that
the current spate of articles didn't appear, because it would mean that Coach
Walker would still be with us, at least the coverage we are getting is
positive and can only (a) increase RW's already-monumental legacy and (b) help
Fitz with recruiting.
I think there will be enormous coverage of the Miami of Ohio game, given the
emotions and the fact that there is not much competition for print space
early in the season. If we can pull off a win, which would have been difficult
even before the tragedy, it could provide a springboard for a surprising year.
