I am shocked, but pleased that Murphy was not one of the candidates.

He has a NFL pedigree, law degrees, and sports management(AD) 
background.

I know he was a player, which could make him biased against the 
owners, but the same could be said for his role as AD given the fact 
he played college ball.

Anybody else taking a half-day next Friday to see the Cats scrimmage @ 
Carthage?
