I generally agree with Jeff's assessment. Any of the 3 QBs will be new and will
take time to develop. I do think, however, that this is a situation where the
spread offense is a big asset.
Don't get me wrong, every offense can be stopped, but the whole point of the
spread is to force the defense to stretch laterally. So, opposing teams will
naturaly gear up for the run and key on Sutton, but if they crowd the middle
too much, someone will get open.
I think the way to combat the WRs getting bumped at the line is to work in some
of those 'bubble' screens that Purdue has used so effectively in the past.
