Having lived in Norman and having worked at OU, I can assure you that keeping
track of the alumni living in the area is a full time job.

There have always been lots of jobs for athletes [and not just football] where
minimal work is required for much pay and this seems like just another episode
in a long, long novella.

Back in the old days, kids got "loaner" cars from the local dealers, they lived
in special air conditioned dorms, right next to the football field, and had lots
of extra perks. Most of that is gone, but I remember the "Fight organized Crime
- disband Oklahhoma Football" bumper stickers too.
