I know people seem to get pumped up about these prime-time games,
although the irony is that we haven't fared too well in them.

Here's how we've fared in prime-time games in recent memory:

Wisconsin-97--LOSS
Michigan-98--LOSS
at Ohio State-01--LOSS
Ohio State-02--LOSS
Ohio State-04--WIN
Michigan-05--LOSS

Michigan 2000 finished under the lights, but it was a 2:30 game, not a
prime-time game. And although we played Northern Illinois on a
Thursday night in 2000, I don't think it was even televised, so I
wouldn't count that as a "prime-time" game. Ditto UNLV 2001 and TCU
2004 (although those were televised, they weren't Saturday-night
prime-time games.)

So our record has been 1-5 in these big games under the lights.
Frankly, the 04 win against Ohio State arguably makes up for the 5
losses, but still, it's not a great record in these games.

Having said that, I'm getting pretty pumped about 11-11. Hopefully by
the 11th hour (PM) we'll be celebrating a victory. (I suppose the 11th
victory in the 11th game would be too much to hope for.)
