A late Ohio wrap-up; I attended the game with my son which was quite
gratifying, as well as having a grand time at The Whitehall Hotel downtown. As my
son is 14, we spent too much time and money in the ESPN zone, but it was a
great time, especially when I stomped him in air hockey!
As far as the game, disclaimer #1: I'm thinking of a word...ah yes,
Temple! Ohio is REALLY bad; and as far as Walker taking it easy, good thing, as we
visit Athens in 2008.
With that said, Baz looked fabulous. He was 27-37, and Thompson and
Herbert dropped one each in the rusty 1st quarter. The defense looked collectively
in synche, as the defensive line was constantly getting a good push, thus
helping our green secondary.
RB- Sutton can really hit the hole in a hurry, but Roberson never got in
any rythem in the sloppy 1st Q., so the RB derby is still open.
I also liked getting the rust off Bacher in the 4th Q. I'd ike to see
C.J. getting a few snaps here and there; remember how impotent Chris Malleo
looked against Minnesota?
Let's go 2-0; Cats claw Huskies 34-27. Howells connects on a long one!

                         GO CATS!!! Eric
