I'm sure if you knew me or Mr. Leonard you'd understand how... amusing 
your "sounds like" assertion is.

So true.  I am opposed to fans who don't stand up on big third downs, bury 
their hands in their pockets the whole game, and generally don't seem to 
be having much fun at the game.  Also anyone who doesn't sing the fight 
song whenever it's being played (but that one's just my own personal pet 
peeve).  I consider it my personal quest to make sure that at least 
somebody outside the band knows the lyrics to the "Rise Northwestern" and 
"Push on Northwestern" songs.  That doesn't mean we shouldn't all hate 
Thunderstix. ;-)

Ultimately, though, this isn't about Thunderstix (unfortunately a native 
product of Lake Villa, IL), it's about cheering your donkey off this 
weekend, wherever you might be.

Wedding reception?  Follow the game on your phone (or just ditch out - you 
didn't want to talk to that ugly bridesmaid/groomsman anyway)!

Complicated surgical procedure?  Those scrubs had better be purple!

In a bar full of Michigan fans?  I hope that's why the aforementioned NU 
fan is doing the complicated surgical procedure! ;-)
