It could be worse, Jim, you could be BEHIND Stephen Truog.  Then you wouldn't
be able to hear OR see.  :-)

I've been to one game where thundersticks were handed out, the visual
distraction was worse than the sound, IMHO.  But I'd still take them over
the wave, because my wife once suffered a mild concussion due to the wave 
when the [censored] in front of us bashed her in the head.

I've also seen someone in the upper deck lose his binoculars jumping up 
to do the wave.  The person sitting in the lower section who 'found' them
was not amused.
