Any individual transaction like anything else on the Internet is traceable,
just like any individual grain of sand is traceable if you want to work hard
enough.  The shear volume of transactions assures practical anonymity.  That
said, I agree with Mike.  This is just one of a number of scandals brewing
out there in the Internet soup.

In a flat world, we have perfect frictionless markets.  Consumers are able
to gain easy access from multiple vendors to whatever it is that they want
to consume.  The good news is that you can find anything you want on-line.
The bad news for those concerned about the effects of exploitation and
addiction is that you can find anything you want on-line.
