Mulroney in check and dominates the Gophs.
* PENN STATE 31, Purdue 13 - PSU has the better O,
better D and Happy Valley on its side.
* WISCONSIN 45, Illinois 20 - Bucky runs left, right
and all over that hapless Illini defense.
* VA TECH 24, Boston College 16 - Could be the Hokies
toughest test of the year, but it's still in
Blacksburg
* GA TECH 28, Clemson 27 - The Tigers make it close,
but the rested Jackets win at home
* FLORIDA 20, Georgia 10 - Even with a healthy
Shockley, the Gator D has the chops to beat UGa again
* NEBRASKA 30, Oklahoma 21 - Just like the old days?
Not quite, but the Huskers bounce back at home.
* TENNESSEE 21, South Carolina 7 - The Vols are in
disarray, but still have the athletes to win at home
* UCLA 49, Stanford 17 - The Cardinal have been a big
surprise lately, but can't stay with the mighty
Bruins.

* NORTHWESTERN 49, Michigan 45 - Why not? The Cats are
on a roll and confident they can beat the mighty Maize
and Blue ... both teams like to take it down to the
wire and the team in purple escapes with a win again.
