[NU Sports] We need a "purple-out"!!!

OK - surely someone (most of you:) ) on this list have
more clout and pull with the athletic department than
I do, so make sure this gets to Mark Murphy's eyes for
me:) ...

We've seen the "white out" at PSU for the OSU game ...
the "Black Out" at Maryland for their prime time
Thursday game.

Well, next Saturday is perhaps the biggest game in
Dyche Stadium since we played Michigan in 2000 or PSU
in 1995. We are on a roll with three wins (two over
ranked teams) a 5-2 record, a (probable) ranking, Big
Ten co-leaders and one play from being 6-1 and alone
atop the league.

WE NEED A PURPLE-OUT in the stands.

We have a prime time audience, we have crazed alums
for homecoming, we SHOULD have a sellout at Ryan Field
and we have a HUGE chance to show Northwestern
football in all its prime time glory.

PLEASE ...

1) WEAR PURPLE! EVERYONE IN THE STANDS!!! WEAR
PURPLE!!!

2) For our "freebie" giveaway as folks enter the
stadium, GIVE AWAY THE SHINY PURPLE SHAKERS THATS HOW
UP WELL ON TV.

3) MAKE NOISE!!! MAKE NOISE!!! MAKE NOISE!!!

We need to have a national audience see a PURPLE
FRENZY in Ryan Field, with everything purple,
everything jumping and everything LOUD!!! WE need to
promote Baz for Heisman and Sutton the Superfrosh and
McGarrigle for Butkus.

Let's make Saturday night a PURPLE HAZE in Evanston
with EVERYTHING PURPLE AND EVERYTHING NOISY!!!

I'm getting excited - spread the word to fans and the
AD and everyone else in Evanston. PAINT THE TOWN
PURPLE! PURPLE HAZE! PURPLE CRAZE!!!

We need a purple-out in Evanston next week. Anyone
without purple on should be sent away at the gate!:)
