[NU Sports] NU vs Michigan State on ESPN2

ESPN should like us with our exciting games, but they're also contractually obligated to carry our games. According to the Big Ten website, every intraconference Big Ten game is televised on ABC or one of the ESPN stations. So unless we're on ABC, we're either on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPN Plus. We've been fortunate so far this year to not be on ESPN Plus yet. Those appearances on ESPN Classic and ESPNU were nonconference games, so I think those are probably covered differently.

In any event, just to clarify, the game this week is actually at noon EDT, not noon EST, unlike last week when we started at the somewhat unusual hour of noon EST or 1:00 EDT. The only reason the game was listed last week as noon EST, not 1:00 EDT is because Indiana doesn't observe daylight savings time. Believe me, I triple checked those times last week before deciding what time I needed to leave Chicago.

If this is all too complicated for you, suffice it to say, the game this week will be on at 11:00 in Chicago, not noon like last week.

Go Cats.

John
