[NU Sports] NU vs Michigan State on ESPN2

Well, if they like us, then the ABC/ESPN family likes
Purdue even more. TWO straight 2:30 kickoffs for a
team that hasn't won a Big Ten game yet? Sheesh! They
can't fill their stadium and don't have a big fan base
either. Ugh.

But ESPN and ESPN2 are national, so that's all the
better for us (plus the NIU game on ESPN Classic was
national - so only Ohio and ASU were not national so
far).

I think it's a combo of our exciting offense and games
(though we've had that for the past decade) and ESPN
picking up more Big Ten games. It seems ESPN is taking
more evening and 2:30 or 3:30 Big Ten games and ABC
has had a couple cases of having both an 11 and 2:30
game from the Big Ten as well. So it helps to be in
the league I guess -- with all the TV markets and fan
base the Big Ten has, it certainly helps our exposure.

I'm just thrilled because it means I can see the Cats
again in Arizona on cable. Woohoo!
