[NU Sports] fellow white sox fans....

Personally it was a wonderful day to be a couch potato. I didn't get much
physical exercise, but I figured that the elevated heart rate for the
NU/Pdoo, UoM/PSU, ND/USC, and Sox/Angels games were probably the equivalent
of a marathon.

It's a great day to be a Sox fan.

For all those bitter Cubbie fans out there, I'd recommend a little onion
with that liver. <g>

And there have to be some of you on this list ... do October Saturdays get
any better than an huge NU win in the afternoon followed by the White Sox
winning an ALCS game at night?

Well, not much better -- except NEXT Saturday, when the Wildcats hammer
Michigan State and the Sox win Game 1 of the World Series.

And the Saturday following ... when NU smacks Michigan under the lights to
clinch a bowl bid and the Sox win the series (or already have won it).

Nirvana, baby.
