[NU Sports] Big Ten today ...

I'm with you Alan. After the Penn State loss (when we all assumed Penn State wasn't very good), I also questioned if the Cats could any other games. I'm not sure about running the table but with these two wins, I am optimistic that they will give everyone a run for their money and - if the D shows - they might win a few more.
It truly was a grand weekend, what with the Cats winning, Penn State losing (I live in the heart of PA...the band on the PSU bandwagon has been keeping me up nights since early September when PSU "thrashed" South Florida), ND losing < gotta love the Trojans if only for that>, and great finishes to so many games. Kept me from finishing my basement remodeling project as I kept going back and forth to the TV flipping channels trying to watch all the finishes....

As perhaps the primary "dear lister" (thanks!) who suggested we could lose all our Big Ten games, I would also like to point out that I took pains to note that I would nonetheless be rooting hard for the Wildcats to win.
My outlook has not changed despite these past two incredible victories.
The offense is great.
The defense is not.
For us to win consistently, the defense has to step up.
If it does, we could run the table.
If it doesn't, we could lose every one of the next five games.
Believe me, nothing would give me greater joy than to "repent" were we to go bowling.
Different subject: for those of you who don't live in LA, try to take a moment to appreciate how good USC really is. Even if you don't like USC -- and, yes, I am first in line to shout from the mountaintops that the Cats got jobbed big-time in the 1996 Rose Bowl -- one of the joys of sport is appreciating greatness when it is present before you. This team -- this run over the past three seasons -- may end up being talked about for generations to come. And this guy Reggie Bush is the No. 1 pick in next year's draft -- ahead of Leinart, the Heisman winner. Try to enjoy it ... if you can.
Warm regards to all on our list -- Alan

Enjoyed reading all the comments. My top 3:
1) After the loss to Penn State some of our dear listers thought we would
lose all our tough BT games. Repent!
2) Seeing ND lose the way they did warms my heart.
3) Baz is the best NU QB in the modern era, we are going bowling, if not
BCS, weather is great in Orlando.
