Why should the aim be for anything but first?
If this team gets any defense it will be tough to beat.
Because this team can and will score.
The ongoing question is whether a defense that is statistically abysmal - but seemed today to make real strides, albeit against a lesser opponent - is up to the task.
I hope so.

Of course if we are hoping for 2nd or 3rd place and figure we won't be first , then maybe a PSU win would have been better--
Since the Rose Bowl is the BCS championship game this year, I think all of the Big 10 bowl game move down one. So I think , (someone correct me here) that makes the Citrus for the #1 finisher in the conference, Outback as #2 --( I know not always when we got jobbed in 2000)
