[NU Sports] NU for Sale

I got another email solicitation for the championship flag, I agree it  seems 
like we are selling a trophy, it is supposed to benefit the athletic  
scholarship fund, but CSTV and ebay are doing the auction, I wonder what their  cut 
is. Last bid was $2900.

Yesterday I got an email indicating that the 1995 Big Ten Champions  flag is

for auction. I believe the minimum bid is $750. 

I'm not  sure what the logic is behind this decision, but something about it
doesn't  feel right. This is the kind of item I'd like to see proudly 
displayed
at  Dyche Stadium forever. Are we really in such a dire financial need?
