[NU Sports] So much red, so little purple

Yes. That's too much. I paid it ($150 for three tickets), but I have an
atypically high interest in the 'Cats, as do many or most of the people on
this list. At that price, I was hemming and hawing about getting the season
ticket family pack, even though this was my only Evanston trip this year!
Maybe that's the objective of the ticket office (the season tickets are a
tremendous value), and I do understand that if it is going to be, say,
Badger fans buying the tickets we want to maximize revenue, but it sure is a
raw deal for casual fans and die-hards for whom season tickets won't make
sense under any circumstances. I can't say we didn't get our money's worth
on Saturday. However, for those of us with young families and who are
trying to stick to a budget it makes things a bit tougher. Maybe the ticket
office could implement a single-game discount program for NUAA and NGN
members or something for repeat ticket-buyers. Just a thought. -Joe

I was yelling "Have you seen our defense?".
Regarding attendance, all I can say is that the single-game ticket price was
$50. That's a LOT of cash for a college football game. I have to believe
there are folks out there who would pay $20 for a ticket, but for $50,
they'll stay home and watch it on TV, or just do something else.
