Six might do it this year.:) As I said after PSU
though -- I can see NU beating anyone left on the
schedule save OSU (and maybe even them now - but they
still have the D to shut us down), but it's tough for
me to see us putting together a string of rows against
a schedule that's so brutal week in and week out.
But it's clear for ND and Iowa that Purdue's passing
defense is as porous as ours, so we could be in for
another thriller next week. Take it one week at a time
and beat Purdue and we'll see what happens.

But it's getting tougher and tougher to doubt 'em --
they crushed Minny who won at Ann Arbor. At least it
makes our loss to them look a bit more respectable,
even if we should have won that game (too bad ASU is
falling apart vs. the Quacks).

Welcome to the new Big Ten ... looks like the Pac 10
last decade.:) Seriously, OSU and PSU appear to be the
class of the Big Ten defenses this year. MSU, Purdue,
Wisconsin, Minnesota and more have given up huge
chunks via air and land this year. 29 just isn't
enough to win anymore ... 39 might not be enough.:)

But I think Walker may have at least been using that
as a motivator -- he was fired up on the sidelines, he
opened up the O a LOT and he thrives on this "us
against the world" mentality.

:) - mine is to use our alumni clout to successfully
rally congress to pass a law reducing the number of
downs from 4 to 3 ... we seem to get to 3rd down a lot
but then give up 3rd and 16 or 3rd and 12 too easy. I
almost feel better if we have a 3rd and 2 against us
because McGarrigle and Roach might make a play.
But a nice win over our hated rivals from the north -
3 of the last 4 in the series too.
GO CATS!!!
