[NU Sports] PIGSKIN PICKS - Week 14

Championship weekend is upon us ... and there's a lot
left to decide in the picks this year. The SEC title
game is the only real biggie - though an interesting
side is that all three have teams playing in their
home state. Then of course there's the LA showdown and
the annual Army-Navy game (yes, the Big Least has a
couple games too, but, blech!) All picks due by
kickoff Saturday.

MY PICKS

* LSU 23, Georgia 17 - Yeah the Dawgs are at home and
playing better, but the Tigers are the SEC's best team
(well maybe Auburn) and they earn the return trip to
Atlanta for the Sugar Bowl.
* Texas 63, Colorado 10 - Style points and more for
the angry Horns as they head to Pasadena. Double
blech!
* Virginia Tech 27, Florida State 13 - It won't make
up for the big bro's title game loss, but this time
Vick beats Bowden as the Noles continue to drop off
the college football map.
* USC 38, UCLA 34 - Close call for the Trojans, but
they escape their crosstown rivals again to earn
Roses.
* Army 19, Navy 17 - I smell an upset here.
