[NU Sports] Hawkeye Housing

Fellow Wildcat Faithful,

I saw this on ESPN.com. Evidentally several schools have athletes living in
low-to-no rent public housing and pocketing their housing stipend. My favorite
paragraph is below. I'd love to see Coach Ferentz say that he had no idea it
was happening.

On the plus side, this (at least in part) dispels the widely believed rumor
that everyone in Iowa lives in a trailer :-)

"As first brought to light by the Des Moines Register, dozens of
full-scholarship Hawkeyes players, who received money for housing, paid little
or no rent to live in the housing. Among them was offensive lineman Brian
Ferentz, the son of Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz, who was found to be living in
an apartment subsidized by taxpayers."

Victory & Honor,
Jim
