I actually sent Mr. Murphy and Shon Morris an email requesting more info, 
initially Morris and Murphy both wrote back with something like "We won't 
know anything until Dec 3 or 4 so we can't really say anything."  I'm glad 
to see they rethought their position.  The email served to not only keep 
enthusiasm high over the coming holiday weekend, but also (unintentionally 
or intentionally) remind our season ticket holders that Murphy is the real 
deal.

I saw Mark at the basketball game as we were singing Go U and the Alma 
Mater - a few of us always stick around for that and Carmody's postgame 
interview (brilliant by the staff to put it on loudspeakers inside the 
arena for all to hear).  He stopped by the few of us still remaining near 
the band and had some kind words.  We loved it.

In a side note, Rex Walters got booed during the end of the game and again 
as he was walking out of the stadium.  Heh.
