Jonathan, thanks a bundle.
This bowl-team selection process has my head spinning.
On December 3, after UCLA's usual blood bath with Numero Uno, Southern Cal, we'll know more about UCLA's mettle.
In any case, it now appears that for us almost any choice for our bowl level would be better than a Spurrier team. I think he's a coaching genius, but evidently only in college ball.

Luckily, as mentioned earlier on this list, if we do go to the Music
City Bowl we will not face an SEC opponent since they will not have
enough eligible teams. (The Independence Bowl will take any available
SEC team if they do not send 2 to the BCS games).
Unfortunately, if we go to the Sun Bowl, we will have a strong chance
of facing a UCLA team that has an excellent offense and a really quick
running back that could slice right through our defense. Only time
will tell who we will face where, though.
