[NU Sports] Tell Us Something ! (fwd)

I realize that the driving experience and tailgating are all tied up
together. UoM does a great job of getting a lot of cars in an out of AA on
game days, but even then it can take a couple of hours after the game for
the traffic to clear.

The majority of people who attend the games don't tailgate anyway. For
them, the nice walk from the L is fun. I've done it a number of times.

I think that you have hit the nail on the head with #3 though. It is part
of our ongoing discussion of winning tradition. I don't know if Canham would
have had the success that he did without Bo.

1. folks want to drive up to stadii these days 2. you can't tailgate out of
an L train 3. most important - fans want to see their team win. That hasn't
been the rule until lately 4. You have to get in the habit when you're a
student - the primary alums who might go to games didn't go as undergrads
because the team was so bad.

Check out who comes now - I bet they went to NU games as students,
