1. folks want to drive up to stadii these days
2. you can't tailgate out of an L train
3. most important - fans want to see their team win. That hasn't been the rule
until lately
4. You have to get in the habit when you're a student - the primary alums who
might go to games didn't go as undergrads because the team was so bad.
