Since our game Saturday, I have received about 5 pages of e-mail (mostly from this list) discussing what happened, where we might be going, etc. Also in that stretch, I received 1 official NU piece of email (CSTV actually) summarizing Saturday's game.

>From the NU Athletic Department, silence.

This group couldn't market food to gluttons.

How hard is it to produce something short, describing the likely options, and a likely timetable of when a decision might be made ? 10-15 minutes for one staffer, then send it out to the whole mailing list. That is one of the reasons e-mail has developed - much faster for mass communications.

Everyone on the list (and we are probably better informed than the average NU ticket-holder) has wanted to know where we might be going, and when we might find out. And it would be so easy for the ticket office just to pass along a note - but nothing.

It would be interesting to know what (if any) communications the other 6 bowl-eligible programs had had with their season ticket holders since Saturday. Since our marketing and attendance is somewhat challenged, our ticket office should be doing more to drum up interest and keep the season-ticket holders informed.
