[NU Sports] The Standings: Lookin' So Fine

A tie for third is indeed nice.:) And we were 2-1
against the other teams tied for third (Michigan was
also 2-1, Iowa and UW were 1-2).

A 5-3 league mark. Wins over our conference-determined
rivals Purdue and Illinois (both away) and our "real"
rivals Iowa and Wisconsin.

And even more, we never had a losing mark at any time
or in any month this year.

* September: 2-2
* October: 3-1
* November: 2-1

That's 5-2 down the stretch, showing the young team's
maturation. And the losses were to Michigan and Ohio
State - not much to be ashamed of there. Preseason top
5 teams and two of the three teams ahead of us for the
Big Ten title.

Our only "shoulda won" loss was Big Ten champ PSU in
September and our only "bad loss" (though ASU was
*good* in September) came early on as well.

Now let's win that bowl game!!!
